How to Use & Privacy Policy

How it works

1. Create Codes: Use the left panel to create thematic codes and assign them unique colors.
2. Paste Text: Paste your interview transcript or document into the main text area.
3. Highlight: Select a sentence or paragraph with your mouse, then click a code on the left to highlight the text.
4. Save / Export: Click 'Save Project' to backup your work as a file. ⚠️ If you want to continue working later, you MUST use 'Save Project'. 'Export CSV' only extracts the highlighted quotes and cannot be reloaded.

🔒 Privacy, GDPR & Cookies

This is a 100% offline, client-side application. Your transcripts, interview data, and codes never leave your device. No text is uploaded to any server, making this tool fully compliant with strict university ethics board requirements and GDPR data protection laws.

Auto-Save (Local Storage): We do not use tracking cookies. Instead, your work is temporarily saved directly to your browser's local memory (localStorage) to prevent accidental loss if you close the tab. Warning: If you clear your browser's history/cache, your transcript will be deleted. Always export your work when finished!
